The trap machine that made Beomat a legend, conforming to the rules of the standard American Trap game.  It will use any standard target made in the U.S. or Canada.  The machine is standard equipped with a yellow main spring, which delivers a 45-60 yard throwing distance.  Higher target speeds require a stronger main spring (optional), it will then throw most standard targets at speeds of International trap games as well.

The machine has been in use on the American market during the last 32 years and has earned a reputation as a work horse.  Many units have thrown 5 million targets or more and still running strong.  Despite this excellent work, they have made quite a few improvements for even greater performance and less maintenance.  With its low maintenance and upkeep, combined with an extremely low target breakage, this machine will be the absolute best alternative for any shooting facility.  As an example on the upkeep of the machine, another old work horse, the Winchester Western machine required replacement of the launching arm rubber about every 15 thousand targets - this Beomat may need replacement of the launching arm somewhere around 300 thousand targets.  Add to this that the replacement is done in 5 minutes or less, and the cost is low.  Further, let's saythat the target breakage is about 3% less with the Beomat machine, over 300 thousand targets thrown in one year, this represents a saving of $450 at the cost of 5 cents per target.

MT400 Wobble Trap

The machine pictured is a Beomat MT400, Continental trap, wobble trap or Automatic trap.  Whichever name you prefer, it will throw the most difficult targets imaginable.  It's the closest thing to Olympic Trap.  It is also very suitable for American Trap due to the easy change of spring tension (target speed), as well as oscillations.

It will use most standard American targets even at the much higher target speed of International trap.  The machine is delivered with a yellow main spring, which delivers a 45-65 yard throwing distance.  Stronger main spring is optional per request.  Due to its vertical oscillation, they only have a 400 target capacity version.

MS400 Skeet Set

The MS400 series stationary single target launcher, with multiple uses in many different applications, as a sporting clay machine with 400 target capacity or in other applications where small houses limit the use of 700 target magazines.  Virtually no target breakage due to the very gentle target handling in the machine.  Nearly maintenance free.  Any MS series machine may be delivered with 24v DC release system, or a Winchester compatible 120v AC release system.  Timers for International skeet available for either voltage.  

The MS400 is compact enough to fit into the smallest skeet house, yet it is the same "BIG" machine that has made Beomat a legend all across the world.  Very quick and precise change of target flight path.  The target spin rate is the highest possible (i.e. one full turn per 12 inches of travel), which equates to approximately 4500/rpm at American skeet and 5000/rpm at International skeet speed.  This provides the target with great stability.  There are some less knowledgeable people in the business who will tell you that their rubber arms will spin the taget faster, thereby providing a better flight).  This is not true, the target can not spin faster than at the rate that it is rolling out on the launching arm.  (If the target is skidding on the launching arm, it will then not obtain the full spin rate).  The target is NOT SKIDDING on the Beomat neoprene arm.  This Beomat neoprene material does however provide you with about 10 times the life span of rubber.

Since all the launchers for the standard 400 series machines are identical, all improvements during the last two years applies to all standard machines.  The units may be equipped with any of 3 different main springs for greater versatility, the springs are very easy to change.  And of course, the Beomat main springs are nearly unbreakable, as is not the case with many other machines.  Further, Beomat provides for the use of different types of release systems; you may use any of the popular wireless or hardwire system as well as any voice or computer guided release system.  24v DC or 24v AC is provided within the machine for such systems, and both circuits are fused internally.  So called sleep mode is available as an option for all machines, this feature is a great energy saver, as well as it subtantially reduces wear on the motors.
